Colson Kelly, who is also referred to by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has a unique style of rapping. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. As a child Baker spent a large deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness and his mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker, his father, as well as their aunt, moved from Denver to Denver. Baker's lack of resources was a reason for bullying by kids who were around him. The rapper began rapping as a sixth grade. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. His music blends modern, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Before making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered lyrics at the pace of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosion of popularity when at the end of 2011, Baker moved from self-released tracks to well-known label. The career of the rapper took off immediately, and all of his albums reaching the top ten charts.
