Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty, born on the 1st of October, 1995 was raised in Berkeley, California. She is an actress, well-known for Choices 2010 (also well-known as The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which also includes actors and directors pursued these professions as well. She first made her debut in film when she was nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she was the lead of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and part of Michele Soavi's The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, the film in which she starred as Nanni Moretti's daughter came out a year after. But it is Close Friends by Michele Placido that saw Asia's acting career explode. Cannes International Film Festival was an enormous achievement for the film. Her father was in the film for the first time in Trauma which was directed by the acclaimed Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento. Her mother, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favourite actress, and she was the anorexic looking to find her parents' killer. Asia was in Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third film she directed with her dad. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Co-starring with Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna, a girl who was physically handicapped. This intricate and difficult part earned her the David di Donatello Prize for Best Actress. She was a part of Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli and won the David di Donatello award and an award of Grolla d'oro. Asia began directing in 1994, releasing two shorts as well as an episode of the movie De Generazione. In 1996 she made a documentary about her father and AbelAsia is a feature film about the cult director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which was awarded at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's first feature-length film directed by her was Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. The film premiered on May 20, 2000 across Italy, and in several other countries. It was the winner of the Brooklyn's special prize at the Williamsburg festival of film.
